The brief

Studio Vær came to us with a clear ambition and an open mind. A new home for an architecture practice, where models, archive and workshop share one long, daylit room.

As an architecture project, the challenge was to find one idea strong enough to carry every touchpoint — from the first conversation to the last detail on site.

Our approach

We began with a short discovery phase: interviews, site visits and a wall of references. From there we narrowed everything down to a handful of materials, one typeface and a palette small enough to remember.

We wanted it to feel like it had always been there — confident, but never loud.

The outcome

The result is a system that holds together across print, space and screen, and one the team can keep building on long after launch.
